Hi there. I am Ineke, 23 24 25 26 years old, student and currently living in Germany.
I´ve always had a passion for food, especially for sweets. If you look at childhood pictures of me, in most of them I am eating something or making cookies. When I was a kid I had a little chair in the kitchen and watched my mother cook, later I experimented myself and my repertoire soon expanded from making pancakes to spaghetti carbonara and apple pies. I definitely have a sweet tooth, I could skip the main course and just eat dessert anytime. But I also like to cook and experiment with good ingredients and new flavours. I love to try out new recipes and cook for others. So here I am, blogging about all the shenanigans in my kitchen.
On this blog you can find pretty much everything: healthy treats, indulgent chocolate cakes, breakfast, lunch or dinner, christmas baking or do-it-yourself treats, everyone should be able to find something. I love to work with good ingredients, I can get overly excited about picking plums in the garden or cultivating courgettes. Almost everything is vegetarian, some things even vegan. I am a sucker for everything sweet but I try to balance it out with my savory meals.
If I am not in the kitchen eating muffins I am either studying, working or traveling. I was lucky to be able to spend long time stays in the United States, Costa Rica and Barcelona and I am absolutely longing for more. Other than that I am just like everybody else, riding this rollercoaster called life, with no definite plans on where I am going or how that whole being-a-grown-up-thing really works.
